Year 5

Year 5 have just returned from a 3 day residential stay at Leeson House field Centre, near Swanage.

We had a brilliant time especially as some had not been away from home on their own before (mouse over thumbnails for larger images).

We began by learning how to make up our own beds	We took part in several long walks, here, on a four hour trek over Barrow Down	We observed the coastal landscape
and especially enjoyed searching the rockpools at Kimmeridge for crabs, shrimps and shellfish	This is not a crazy dance but a practical demonstration of long shore drift on Swanage beach
